With data for the second quarter of 2009, this study once again placed the United States leads the ranking, being responsible for more than 15% of spam received worldwide, which means that one in six spam messages are received from this country.

At the other end, Russia during the same period last year was second-reduce its emission rate from 7.5% in the second quarter of 2008 to 3.2% of the current, falling to ninth place the table. Colombia, meanwhile, becomes the only nation that does leave the ranking of the twelve, since Q1 2009. Just the opposite is the case with Poland, the protagonist of the largest increase in emission of spam since the last quarter, and passing the tenth to sixth world lugarm and Vietnam, which enters the dirty dozen.

The TOP 12 spam relaying countries from April to June 2009 was comprised as follows:

1. United States 15.6%
2. Brazil 11.1%
3. Turkey 5.2%
4. India 5.0%
5. South Korea 4.7%
6. Poland 4.2%
7. China (including HK) 4.1%
8. Spain 3.4%
9. Russia 3.2%
10. Italy 2.8%
11. Argentina 2.5%

While the United States government is concerned about security, should also address the safety of their own computer systems, if all people who have infected your machine, you have Linux, the spam would be much less worldwide.
