 We are thrilled and grateful to all of you, our dear readers, at the time of this report. The year of 2009 has been a busy time and effort, major changes and adjustments, always trying to provide the best content on free software and open source, especially GNU / Linux. We have seen the emergence of mobile technology telephone devices for the first time have an operating system GNU / Linux competent and able to give battle to other phones, we have seen how many companies and governments are beginning their journey towards Free Software. Many people thought that 2009 was a year of crisis, but we know that crises are those that allow growth, by giving a time of reflection and allow the ingenious minds will manage to survive, to generate ideas and new resources operating in the future.
We started 2009 with only 265 visits a month, and finished with 4.302, a multiplication of nearly 2,000%, and we really feel happy and fulfilled, but we want more. In Mexico there are at least 40 million people who could use free software regularly, and if we the people of the 117 countries that visit us in the 6 languages available to us, we add hundreds of millions of people who are potential users of Free Software solutions. We want to reach them all, help to facilitate change, inviting them to test these new solutions, and love the flexibility you have with open source, ease of reviewing all audit it, improve it and adapt to the needs of each . For this, and to continue our growth plans, wanting to produce a print magazine GNU / Linux Mexican open the option of targeting advertisers on our website. So far we have sustained donations and Google advertising, which at the time hardly allows for the maintenance of the site, but we seek investment and capital to establish a task force that enables us to produce the print magazine, so we require capital good few thousand dollars. If you are interested in cooperating with this project, we invite you to contact us, whether you want to contribute articles, with links to your blog, donation or placing advertising of your services and products. Later, this 2010 is a great starting point and a year of recovery for all which are made ready. It is a year in which systems should be saved, and what better way to do that spending time on Free Software.
