Greetings to our readers tod @ s @ s.

This is the first issue of Linux Living in the electronic version of Bulletin. We are pleased to have initiated this project, and hopefully in the next few months we have a large quantity (and quality) of articles and information for all.

In this issue we have our main article: How to make your Ubuntu Hardy on Mac OS X. I know, I know. To do so, if Linux has its own interface and need not be copying one another. But anyway, is a laboratory, with which we can not impress and convince Linux users to try Linux.

In this laboratory you will be able to change the entire look, from the boot to the internal, and if you have a video card or so new, even you are able to use two or more monitors to display your screen, with her bucket and the whole thing. If you have a card or so old (bone, that does not support textures larger than 2048 pixels wide) then you will be able to use dual monitors, but stacked on each other and not to the sides.

In the reviews we came across a game arcade mix with something new, Laverinto 3D (no, not bad writing), this entertaining and not very resource demanding, you can also serve to prove that you have properly configured your video card acceleration 3D.

In this issue, we will see about Open Office 3.0, now the truth came out and it feels lighter, and open formats and MS Office 2007, although it does very well, at least now you can read them. Downloads Demand was so great, that felled the servers, fortunately we were able to download it before us.

We tested ThinkgOS a live distro that brings Google Gadgets (Widgets could tell), it looks really cool, but still would not trade it for my Kubuntu.

And the documentary, we have LINEDUX, Linux for children also with Edubuntu, for students, useful to start a laboratory in a primary school to secondary school, and educating new generations in Linux as well as other operating systems.

Finally, in this first edition we take want to start with the right foot, and we hope that you will enjoy. Remember: you are who tells us to where we walk, if you have any suggestions, send to our website, or on the forum.

A Linux!
