Some time ago announcing the first PC of hundred dollars, with the OLPC project (one laptop per child), which sought to give laptops to governments of developing countries at prices of $ 99. The project was unsuccessful because the components might not have the right price. Now the company CherryPal seems to take up this project with your laptop Africa, a 2GB version in flash memory, 256MB of memory and 400MHz processor with 7-inch screen. It looks very commendable, especially also consider putting GNU / Linux operating system, although Windows CE is considered as an alternative. Hopefully achieve its purpose and that many children in all countries can have this equipment to reduce the digital divide.
